SCOTT STEIL WINS CASS LAKE FLW WALLEYE TOUR EVENT
The top ten battled it out on the final day of competition on the pristine waters of Northern Minnesota's Cass Lake, during the FLW Walleye Tour's third stop of their 4 event schedule.
Ranger/Evinrude Pro, Scott Steil, of Richmond, MN reined victorious when his limit of 5fish weighed in at 18 pounds 1oz, giving him a total weight of 58 pounds 2 ounces.
"This is great!", said Scott. "I've been doing this for 5 years, and I've been close to winning several times, but today it finally all came together for me...you know what I mean? I couldn't be happier right now."

South Dakotans win the 2008 Cabela’s NTC Walleye Tournament

Mobridge, S.D. – It a dramatic finish, two South Dakota anglers won the 2008 Cabela’s National Team Championship today on Lake Oahe. Colin Beitelspacher and Shannon Grismer, both of Sioux Falls, produced a five-fish basket weighing 13.23 lbs. today to bring their two-day tournament total to 29.58 lbs. That was only .38 ounces ahead of 2nd place finishers Brandon Beitelspacher and Andrew Moberly.
Saturday brought perfect fishing conditions to Lake Oahe at Mobridge with sunshine and light winds most of the day. David Lemke and Patrick Seibert were in the lead when the day started, but then the team’s primary motor broke down a short distance from the Indian Creek Recreation Area starting point.
